City of Greenville, Reecy Davis Recreational Center

 

Help us honor our generous Hosts by making every effort to attend your dinner!

 

If you are unable to attend, please notify your host IMMEDIATELY,

So food preparation can be adjusted.

Title:  Dallas Dinner Table Event is NOT Canceled

Dear Dallas Dinner Table Participant, Facilitator or Host, 

The Dallas Dinner Table Event on January 15^th, at 6:00 p.m. is not canceled. 

The current weather forecasts have the mid day temperature on Monday above freezing and the storms dissipating overnight. 

We believe that the conditions will allow our event to go forward. 

We will re-evaluate this situation tomorrow, Monday morning, and send another update message at noon on Monday the 15^th. 

Much work has gone into this event by a large number of dedicated volunteers.  Although we are concerned for everyone’s safety, we are also aware of the costs to our hosts; which can not be mitigated at this late date.
